In her role at Flamboyan, Cassandra supports school leaders and teachers in designing and sustaining the conditions necessary for effective schoolwide family engagement.
Cassandra is committed to working in education because she believes that children deserve fertile ground to explore their gifts and talents in pursuit of joy, liberation, and their highest possibilities.
Prior to joining Flamboyan, Cassandra earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, Reading, and English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) from the University of Central Florida. She also holds a certificate for Creative Leadership from the Perrone-Sizer Institute. Lastly, she acquired a Master of Education in School Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Throughout her career, she has had the honor of providing support to teachers in South Africa and Spain, serving as a Campus Director in Boston, Massachusetts, and teaching English Language Arts and Humanities to extraordinary elementary and middle school students in Florida, Massachusetts, and Washington, DC.
Cassandra is known for taking long drives with unforgettable sing-alongs, play-dates with puppies, and experimenting with new recipes.
