As Chief of Staff, Lindsay is an integral member of Flamboyan’s senior leadership team, guiding the foundation’s institutional strategy, planning and evaluation, and internal culture. She also leads Flamboyan’s work to identify and invest in path-forging organizations through its philanthropic portfolio, combining strategic thinking, project implementation, and relationship-building to advance the foundation’s mission. A Washington, DC native drawn to the Spanish language and Caribbean culture, Lindsay is dedicated to expanding opportunity for children most impacted by inequity. She is fortunate to direct work in both of Flamboyan’s regions, spanning both places she calls home.
Lindsay began her career in Flamboyan’s Washington, DC office, traveling to Puerto Rico starting in 2018 to support special projects. As her involvement in the foundation’s programmatic work on the island deepened, she developed professional fluency in Spanish. She relocated to San Juan in 2025, where she is now based.
Lindsay holds a B.A. in Cultural Communication and Spanish from James Madison University. She maintains her connection to JMU by chairing the Honors Advisory Council, the governing board for the JMU Honors College, from which she graduated.
